Anyone know the Torque settings for when the driveline shaft goes into that tube in the back of it... their is 11 bolts. like inside of bell housing in the rear of the driveshaft.
I'm looking at my 2001 vette Helms manual here and what I think you are referring to is the propeller shaft that slides into the driveline tube.
Do you have an automatic or a manual tranny?
There are short hubs at each end of the propeller shaft that connect to the engine and tranny. There is also a bell housing attached to the tranny end of the driveline tube. The flywheel housing "bell" attached at the engine end of the driveline tube is detachable from the driveline tube.
From everything I see in my manuals, it looks like 37 lb/ft is the correct torque required.
