Doesn't sound high to me, but I'm up here in Mich. brrrrr, & the air temp is 30* & my trans temp is between 190 & 205 depending on how hard I'm running. I spoke to my good friend that owns a trans shop & asked him what my trans temps should be & he said close to my engine temps. Sounds reasonable as the radiator cools both. Hopefully someone with more tech. knowledge will chime in & set us both straight. ;) I'm sure in a short time we will have a web site to read that will have more information then we care to know, (just kidding I love those web sites)
:iagree: A trans cooler will surely solve any trans. cooling problem, but I'm curious as to how much effect the deep pan will help lower the temps? I'm sure it will help but to what degree? I'm thinking a deep pan might be all I need up here in Mich. Anyone have the stats on the deep pan standing alone,ie,with no trans cooler thanks.
