Intermintant lean condition???
1st gear rattles (Knocks) badly and 2nd has poor throtle response but only intermitantly. Other half the time it's just fine, any suggestions. Cleaned MAF because dealer said aftermarket oiled air filter will cause that. That worked for awhile but back to ususal rutine.

Does anyone in your area have an Ease or Autotap? If so you can hook it up and see just what your car is doing. At least from there you will know what to fix instead of going by what the dealership tells you.

Sometimes problems occur on the car that are not picked up by the computer sensors. Scanning the car and seeing the data will tell you what is happening even if no codes are being thrown. You will need someone who can understand the data to help you figure out what is happening with the car.
