Re: Shops in the DFW area (ukneeq)
Hi there we are located in Wylie about 10miles east of Plano off of George Bush. We install suspension, brakes, engines, exhaust, supercharger, etc packages for the Corvette. We have recently been working on a heads/cam/header package for these cars that delivers 540HP. Feel free to take a look at our web site or give us a call if you have any questions.

ukneeq, before you commit to any work I would sugest taking a tour of the shop first. I checked out LG MotorSports based on their reputation, but when I got there they couldn't give me ANY details on a rebuild of an LT1. I mean, I was going to spend about $10K so I made an appointment with the salesman, drove 30 minutes to Wylie, and all they offered to do was fax me some specs later (which specified a mysterious "G2" for the major parts). This was a year and a half ago, maybe they've gotten better, but I'm still looking for a good shop. Closest I foud I could trust was in Houston where they actually asked me decent quetsions on my goals, did some research, got back to me, made some tradeoffs, and worked with me on an elaborate quote. Too far of a drive at the time, so I'm still looking as well.
