My car seems to shake at 80 and higher  When I let go of the wheel at lower speeds it tracks stright as a string. :) But when I get to higher speeds it shakes...Could this be just balance of the tires? I mean if it was out of line wouldn't it drift one way or the other? Or could it be that one wheel may be out of alignment? Tire wear looks even for all..Thanks for any help :yesnod:
:iagree: Having been in the tire & auto service for forty years, your best bet is a balance problem, most likely, definitly the place to start. Hope this helps.
:iagree:
had the same prob at +80 and higher
when I got newer tires put on and balanced it has 99.9% gone away
of course now i'm a little hypersensitive to any shake or bumb now
Definately sounds like a tire issue. Either balance is slightly off on one of the front tires, or one of the tires is starting to have an issue/bulge somewhere. Have your tire guy/dealer check it out.
