Well, it looks as if Jupiter has been questioned by some people high up at GM, so I've taken my car back, and they said to just wait a while and bring it back. Malcolm says if I wait like a month or so, it should blow over by then, so I'll just deal with it when the time comes. He says as long as he's there he's gonna help me out. BTW, they're hurting for business, so as long as there are cars out there under warranty, they're happy to work with them. I guess I'll just go get a rental car for a little while. Thanks for all the help guys.
Could a moderator please lock this thread? Or delete it?
Shinobi -- forget about the problem with his car for a moment.
Most poeple, myself included, were merely trying to point out the inherent stupidity of trying to do something on the sly and then describing it in detail in a public forum. Surely you must see this?
That makes absolutely no sense and his willingness to further describe what's going on only proves his worthiness of our collective dumbfoundedness.
Not sure how this fact makes anyone who points it out a "finger", to use your language.
Give this guy a break. Sometimes there can be a million miles between the dealer and the maker. With all the things goin wrong with the ls6's ,do ya think anybodys gonna really try to screw him. Good luck Malu tell em to MAKE IT RIGHT!!!
The only way they are going to lock this thread or delete it, is if you start posting info on the C6. Say you talked to an insider at GM and he gave you info on the C6. It will deleted for sure!!!!!!!

I would have got it replaced except some bastard called GM and told them I race my car and they put a block on the warranty work.
Here is a bit of sage advice. If you are going to take your car in for warranty work, don't post where your car is at before it is fixed, and don't burn the service managers who are helping you out. When you come out and publically brag about racing your car on several forums, what is done, etc... Don't be suprised if someone from corporate goes and palces a call to your dealer to find out who is the butt-clown he was reading about on the internet with the blown up modded Z06 (I'm not calling you an butt-clown BTW, just making a point).
Trust me, I feel your pain. But sometimes there is a thing known as TMI.
As a side note. I posted over on z06 vette, and so did John Myrick. We know where a low milage LS6 out of a 2002 is. It was running when it came out of the car. It is partially disassembled but with it, and whats left of your engine you could be back in business pretty quick.
We race ours weekly, and everyone knows it. While in warranty we never claimed any repairs, we do them ourselves. And when we went into the wall twice we did not try to claim on ins., we fixed it ourselves. We have close to 70k on it know and it is still going strong! Warranties & ins are not to abuse....if ya wana play, be prepared to pay.
