Follow the hose from the bottom of the radiator on the passenger side up to the front of the block.....it connects to the T-Stat....it is halfway down on the passenger side of the block. The T-stat makes almost a 90 degree turn towards the passenger side of the car and connects to the hose.

Here's how I changed mine out. I got the car hot, and pulled it onto Rhino ramps. I got a large container to catch all the fluid, and using the pitcock on the lower passenger side of the radiator I drained as much fluid as would come out. I used vice grips to open the pitcock, being careful not to get any hot fluid on me. The reason I did this with the car hot is so the T-stat would be open and drain as much fluid from the block and hose as possible. Once all the fluid had drained, I then disconnected the hose and replaced the T-stat. Some fluid will come out when you do this, but it won't be a whole lot. Hope this helps...

I did my install some what differently.

I prepared the new t-stat and had it handy for when it was needed.

I did not drain any fluid but did place a large trascan lid under the car to catch any coolant that might escape.

I removed the clamp (slid it down the hose) holding the radiator hose to the t-stat.

I propped up the end of radiator hose after separating from t-stat to keep fluid from running out.

I removed both bolts that hold t-stat into block making sure to hold t-stat continuously flush against block.

I then did a qiuck switch pulling old stat off and placing new stat on and flush against block thus preventing any collant from leaking out.

Insert two bolts, tighten down, replace clamp, replace any coolant (minimal) and your done.

Good luck on this somewhat easy mod.
