Default A call to MODAHOLICS
I swore up and down this winter, NO MODS. Well it only took a dozen passes at the track so far this year to determine I NEED just ONE more mod.

I will become one of the VERY few A4 drivers with a 4.10 rear today.

Don't expect any "this thing rocks" statements from me but I will provide 60' numbers form the track this weekend for those interested.

Now......NO MORE MODS!!!

I now have 39 miles on the 4.10 rear and can answer the question that concerned me the most.

RPM at Crusing.

My 3.42 had me at 1900 at 60 mph with an increase of about 125 per 5 mph
My 4.10 has me at 2100 at 60 mph with an increase of about 150 per 5 mph

The stock gearing in my car turns about 1535 RPM in 6th gear at 60 MPH.

That statement is exactly why I went direct to 4.10

As far as one more mod... how about a SS3800 or ST4000? :D
This statement is why I should have gone to 3.73 (maybe not enough converter in the car right now)
