Right brake lights won't work! Help!
It's a 98, and the right blinker works fine....but the brake light or 4 way flasher it does not??? Real puzzle....that they work with the turn signal, but not the brakes or 4-ways. Left brake light & the center one work fine.... All fuses appear to be good (unless I missed one) Any ideas ?? Thanks in advance.

most likely turn signal switch if all wiring, bulbs and connectors are OK. Could be something with the hazard switch as well. Service manual and a test light would be a good thing to have :cheers:

I have the same problem. I have posted this question here 2 or 3 times and got no help. Good luck. I still do not have brake lights on the right side. :mad

Sounds like the wiring harness is bad. Do you have a euro set up or is it stock? I had a euro wiring harness go bad, replaced it pretty easily and my problems were gone. The stock harness might be a little harder to replace, but I would bet that is your problem. You might try getting some electrical contact cleaner and unplugging the harnes to clean the contacts. It plugs in just above the muffler behind the right rear tire. Watch out for the muffler if your car is hot! That plug is in a bad spot. It get's alot of heat and road debris/water when driving.
