I just installed a set of FLP's on my SS camaro. My father who has an 00 vette, is a little jealous, and has sent me out to research the best longtube headers out there that would sound good with a corsa catback.

I have TPIS long tube headers with Random Technology cats and x-pipe and Borla "Stinger" exhaust. Quality is excellent and fitment is slip on with no welding. Borla sound is not deep but sounds unique, strong and powerful, There is a slight resonance around 1500 RPM which wasn't noticeable with the Stingers and stock exhaust manifolds and pipes but is not objectionable. Of course sound will be different depending on exhaust/mufflers you choose. I didn't use O2 sims at first and it would only occasionally set a code. I then installed O2 sims and have had no further problems.

I have the same headers and cats as Bruce but with the Corsa Indys. All that really happend sound wise was louder at WOT. The "gurguling and popping at deceleration is still there even with the X pipe.
Lot more power of course, really comes on at 3000 RPM.,
