Hello! I recently purchased a 2003 Electron Blue Z06.
This summer I plan on doing a few things to it, which would involve me having to take my front wheels off.
I never have taken wheels off prior to this, therefore I would like to have your recomendataions -
My friend has a 2000 REAL Type-R and has a very nice jack (with stands) and a torque wrench. He is away at college and I cannot get in touch with him right now, so I would like to see what products you guys have had good luck with.
So, the main favor is if you could point me in the right direction to a good set jack stands (and jack) and a nice torque wrench.

Re: Taking front tire(s) off? (PepperdineZ06)
Got my equipment at Sears. The stands are of good quality and the Craftsman torque wrench(s) I bought carry the usual lifetime guarantee. Another recommendation I would have for you is to go to Wal-Mart or Pep-Boys and buy a pair of "Rhino Ramp" drive on ramps. They're inexpensive and low enough to allow you to drive your car directly onto them. Your side black plastic spoiler pieces easily bend out of the way a little when driving onto them and suffer no damage what-so-ever.
I have found the low clearance Rhino Ramps to be useless on a C4, I don't know how you C5 guys do it, I gave mine to a C3 owner who has a higher front clearance.
I drive my car up on 2 X 6's so it gives me enough clearance to place a floor jack underneath.
