I am getting a ticking sound from the car, Its not the "piston slap" it comes from underneath and changes a t speed. Sound seems to be around the TQ tube, any ideas?
I have had a similar sound coming from under the center console it sounds like. It sounded like a couple of coat hangers knocking together; kind of a tin on tin type sound. If this is what you have try this. Get under the car and grab the two brake fluid lines (metal lines) that run from your differential toward the front of the car. I think mine were rapping on the bottom of the car. I grabbed them and pulled them down a little and have not heard the noise since. Good luck, rattles drive me nuts!! :cuss
Tough to diagnose remotely, but you may want to take a look at the springs that support the exhaust system.
Mine used to make a ticking, twang sound. I laid a bead of Hi-temp RTV along each spring and they quieted right down.
The RTV is a trick I learned from snowmobiling, Most sled's header pipes are held on using springs and they sometimes get vibrating, it will drive ya crazy.
Notice in your sig that you have changed your exhaust cat back. When you did the swap did you use new exhaust flange gaskets or reuse the old ones. Might have a leak at the exhaust flange. The voice of experiance :smash:

Sounds like the clutch bearing. Does the sound stop if you push the clutch in?
Mine make a ticking sound that stops when I put the clutch in.
