All you guys were right in the way you described this exhaust. Nice deep tone, loud when you push it but not over the top. Very livable from the inside the car, with the very slightest of drone at about 1500 rpm but none at all above this. Spent most of today with the stereo off and the tach jumping in each gear.
Thanks for the help in making the selection and thanks Shawn for doing your usual.
WWK88, the drone is very mild and seems to occur in 4th & 5th but only when trying to accelerate from low RPM when the traffic picks up. i.e.when I should likely be in a lower gear/higher RPM's anyway. So nothing of concern to me.
johnnyC5 yes duo C5's sporting a set of 2 tip Boarla Stinger & quad GHL's would make quite an impression. Now if we could get some warmth up here we could do this. I am installing my Hurst shifter on Saturday to add another performance dimension.
I have TPIS headers and weld in x-pipe, into the 3.5" GHLs. I have a VERY slight drone at ~1500 rpm not even enough to really call resonance. Resonance is a C4 with B&B and Bee buzzing in your ear
GHLs are my favorite inside and ouside of the car :yesnod:
