I posted this in the "general" section but didn't get much help,so I'll try here.
A couple of days ago I was driving down the road, just cruising at 45 when all of a sudden I was hit with a "reduced engine power" alert and "service traction control" and "service active handling". I pulled over shut the car off and pulled 3 codes, P1221 H (TP Sensors 1,2 Performance -A), C1278 H (C1278 TCS Temporarily Inhibited by PCM) I realize this is being generated due to the PCM fault and B0521 H (Tachometer Signal Circuit Malfunction). I didn't erase the codes instead I drove home with the "check engine" light on and hooked up my scanner which showed a fault of P1221, I erased all of the codes and checked again and everything remained gone.
Here it is 3 days later and the same thing happened again today with the exception of the Tach signal fault, I just ordered a set of service manuals from Ken Fichtner to help figure this thing out I'm just hoping that one of the good forum members will be able to start me down a good path until my manuals arrive.
