Last year right before i stored my vette, i had so issues with the transmission. Second gear would pop out of gear. So i went to the dealer and they told me it was my BandM ripper shifter. So removed it and put in my stock shifter. But it still did it..... So they ended up replacing the shiftsomething i think it was the rod or what ever the point is they said that if i put the ripper back it they would void my warranty. MY question is: Is there anything i can do to not void my warranty and still have my shifter in? Cause the stock one sucks butt....

Did their fix cure the problem?
If not, from what I've read it's probably a syncro problem within the transmission. It sounds like the dealer is being **** about it and doesn't want to do the work needed, but the reality is (if this is the case and the problem is not solved), your shifter has nothing to do with it.
If they did fix the problem, well, I'd put the B&M back in. If you have future problems, you now know well enough to swap shifters before taking it in.

What the dealer fixed did stop the problem but it wasn't the shifter in the first place.........those **** bastards just wanted to blame the shifter for their mistake OH well i'll try to stay with my stock shifter for now i guess :cry
