Default C5 automatic - need Hypertech PP111 advice

2000 C5, A4 auto, 3.15 rear end, Borla Stinger exhaust, Vortex Ram Air, Granetelli MAF, Carbon fiber air bridge. Need advice on programming my Hypertech PP111. Playing around with settings, when above 5800 RPM's starts to cut out / miss. Is 5800 RPM's the limit? Has anyone with a similar set up C5 tweaked the settings at the track? Any advice would be appreciated.

The hypertech should allow you to raise the rev limiter more. You might have raised your shift points but not your rev limiter to account for the higher shift point.

I believe the stock limiter is 6200, I raised mine to 6400 and and raised the shift points to apprx. 6000 on 1-2, and 2-3. If you are cutting out at 5800, you may have a mechanical problem i.e. weak valve springs, or be in need of a tune-up, plugs and wires.
