Default Recalibrated MAT sensor

Anyone using a recalibrated relocated MAT sensor with a Vortex Rammer cold air system? Did you have to drill a hole in the Vortex rammer?

That's exactly what I did on my 98. Seemed to work fine. When i get a new MAT for my 99, I'll have to drill into my vararam. I think the mat came w/ a new grommet, and the directions specified what size bit to use. Go for IT!

I have not heard of the re-calibrated MAT being beneficial on the 99-up C5s but rather cause knock/etc when analyzed on computer!!!!! Research it on the forum b4 drilling bud!

Exactly, I got rid of the Recalibrated MAT Sensor and the nylon MAF ends, they caused about 15 degress of KR back in 00, if memory serves.
