Default Traction Question, need input.

I want to go forced induction or heads and cam, however my 295 pilots are already a joke on the street with a 3500 stall and 360+ RWTQ. The BFG drag radials do good for me at a preped track.

Anyhow, any tires one would recommend for stock Z06 for better traction on the sreeet. Is there a wider tire for this rim, and would it help? IF not, whats a good street setup? What should I do, I need to improve my street setup, I want a noticable amount more traction then 295 pilots, but mainitain good handling on the street.

i saw a lingenfelter TT with HREs, with 335 series tires on the back. he had a minitub, on the street, i would think that would be the most traction without driving around in drag tires,
hey why not do heads and cam and forced induction, hehe :D

Maybe I will, but one at a time, hehe. No traction right now without drag radials though. I guess I'm assing is the gain in traction (if anny) going from 295 to 335, or 315 is woth the cost?

So no street tire or street tire width will have at least semi decent traction after the 370~400 or so RWHP?
