Default Bleed brakes now have a few problems..

Today I was bleeding my brakes and after I was all finished my brake light stays bright, I have a weird DTC code TCS c1247 and my traction control button wont work. Any ideas? I have looked for this code and can't find it anywhere.

Service manual says:

Brake Pressure Differential Switch Activated.

The important thing I gathered from the 2 pages about the code was:

DTC C1247 could be set during a hydraulic brake system bleeding procedure if the ignition switch is in the ON position.

Ok that makes complete sense, how do I turn the code off? I use the DTC to delete it and it pops back up....

I am getting ready to bleed my brakes on saturday, does this mean to make sure the key is off when bleeding? Let me know if there is anything else I should know about. Hope you get yours all figured out Phil! Always seems to be something, doesn't it!? :cuss

I think it means you still have air in the system. The service manual isnt that clear on what to do unless the pressure sensor itself has failed.

They do have a procedure to bleed the master cylinder if thats suspected to be the problem, and they also say to Auto bleed the ABS modulator with a Tech-2 if the pedal is spongy.

Try cracking the lines at the master first a few times.

Did it ever run dry ?
If so ....uh , oh.....

I had something similar on my C4 once. I pumped the pedal hard a few times and it eventually cleared. I think I would crack one wheel and bleed a few pumps with no key in the ignition.

Update:
I cycled around each corner pumping the brakes one time and once each corner had been rebleed, I pressed on the brakes hard and the problem dissappeared.
