Fuel Pump Questions......
I noticed a extra rushing sound while sitting at idle and was wondering if it could be the fuel pump about to take a dump? The car has 24K on it and I wouldn't think it would be that, but it is coming from the rear of the car. Also, it can be heard for a few moments when the ignition is just turned on and the car is not started.
Does this sound right? Is the pump in the gas tank like other cars? It seems to be coming from over my left shoulder, but you know how it goes, I could be wrong.
