stock air bridge removal ???

stock air bridge removal ???
What's the secret to removing the stock air bridge? I loosened the clamps at each end and got the corrugated hose off the throttle body, but can't get the other end away from the MAF. Help!

Wiggle it back and forth. It'll come off. There's really no secret, just patience.

The MAF to airbridge fit is very tight and well sealed..but it does just pull apart. WD40 sprayed around the area may help, but theres no secret trick to it.
If you're replacing the bridge, getting the new one into the MAF is even more fun.

To reassemble it, I found it's actually easier to remove the whole intake system, put everything together loosely, then reinstall it and tighten everything up.

Thanks guys. I wasn't quite sure how well sealed it was and didn't want to break something. I have a decal for the emblem on the air bridge that I wanted to put on, but I might wait until I get the Blackwing and do it then. :cheers:
