Help??? How many head bolts do I need to order?
My 2X kit is on the way from Cartek. I went to order my head gaskets and head bolts from my dealer and they said that there is a set of 16 long bolts and a set of four short bolts. Which ones and how many of each do I need for both heads? Any other gaskets I need?

You need the following;
Long Head Bolts (Qty 16) part # 12560744
Medium Bolts (Qty 4) part # 12560745
Shorts (Qty 10) part # 12558840
Call Dave about the proper head gaskets.
I suggest changing the timing chain part # 12552954 or by a Rollmaster.
You will also need a new crank bolt part # 12557840.
All other gaskets can be re-used by inspect them prior to installation.

If you look at my site, it lists what you need. http://www.ls1howto.com/index.php?article=1
As you can see, I list the part number GM 12498545, which is a headbolt kit. It contains all bolts needed for one head. Buy 2 of those part #'s from a dealership.
