Anybody running these, or any other cutouts? If so, where did you mount them? Any advice or suggestions?
For the guys with QTP specifically, have you had any issues with the electric ones sealing (or lack thereof) after a period of use?
I'm seriously considering putting a couple on the car in place of buying a $800 exhaust system. For $200 (plus install), it seems like you'd get great performance and loud sound at the flip of a switch, and still retain the stock, non-droning quiet exhaust when you want it.
I've had mine on for about 9 months and they are awesome. No issues at all, they seal great. Give me your e mail and I will send you some detail shots of my install.
I have them installed after the axle. I wanted as close to the cats as possible but my lowered car just does not have the clearance. So I compromised. My car has long tube headers, really really high flow cats ;) , A&A X-pipe, and A&A exhaust mod. With only the cutouts closed, my car is quiet and no resonance. It gets a little loud at WOT from 4000 to 6500 rpm. With the cutouts open, it sounded really loud and metallic :reddevil I like it alot :yesnod:

Thanks for the info- I can't wait to see the pics. :D
benilliwang- That looks perfect. Mine is lowered as well, so I was worried about where to stick them so that I don't scrape them up if I ever high-center the car.
