Default Center console
Anyone else have a heck of a time opening the center console storage door? Seems like that spring loaded hinge is overly spring loaded. I didn't try any silicone as the thing is only a year old. Is that the fix or do you need a new part?

I just WD40'd mine a few weeks ago since it was getting stiff, worked great, opens easily now.

One thing is, you should pull straight up at the front of the lid when opening.. Trying to swing it open doen't work well. :cheers:

It has been a couple of years since anybody mentioned this problem. Just lube it and it should be OK.
