Codes after headers installed
Sounds like you're on to to normal tuning issues. I'd probably try to get some baseline data first, plug swap might be worth it if you don't think it's bad enough to just foul them right away. I'd probably at least pull one and take a peek to see how bad it is. I'm an IFR, no holes in the throttle body kind of guy. :D
It's gonna stink and burn eyes with no cats. Don't stand behind it.
Play time? What's that? :cry

Trims are still way out of wack, will this sort itself out as I run the car ???
Think I'll swap the plugs out later today.
No holes in the T.B. here either, BTW I do have a P&P Maf and T.B.
So without the cats she's gonna burn and smell... The purpose of the cats are to burn off un-burned fuel entering the exhaust system,,, correct.?
Thank you all again !!
Just disconnected the battery for 20+ minutes.
Pulled and replaced the plugs, they were soaked with fuel and completely covered in soot.
Replaced leaking AIR tube gaskets.
Changed the oil.
Re-taped.
Trims are now at (–14) +/- 3 on both sides.
She’s pretty much back to normal now.
Recap:
Condition: Code P1133 and P1153 ---- will not stay running, very rough idle, stalls ---- black smoke out the pipes ---- fouled plugs.
Root Cause: I installed the O2 sensors on the wrong pipes. The rear O2 harnesses cross over at the rear O2 bungs. The O2 sensor harness on the driver side actually monitors the passenger side exhaust pipe.
Likely cause of additional problems: I had the intake manifold off during the header install. After re-installing I torqued in proper order to spec. I took the advice of benelliwang and found all the bolts to be loose. Also, noted when turning the torque wrench to go slow, I found resistance points once passed, the bolt would become loose again. Also, it’s a good idea to re-torque after a few heat cycles.
