Default Considering Non-Runflats

I'm sure this topic has been run to death, but I want to make sure I will not have a problem with what I am attempting to do. I have a 2002 EB Vert and have the Z06 Wheels. I wanted to go with 275/35/17 in front and 295/30/18 in rear. I am considering the Kumho Ehxsta MX but they only offer sizes of
275/40/17 in front and 295/35/18 in rear. Any chance of rubbing with these sizes. Those out there that have used these tires, are you pleased for the money? Thanks for the replies.

Default Re: Considering Non-Runflats (BluGem)

There are a bunch of us running the Kuhmo sizes with no problems. With the 295/35x18's, my speedometer and odometer are a touch fast. My odometer is off roughly 1/10 over 2 miles. In another words I add 1/10 of mile extra to the odometer for every 2 miles I drive, approximately. I thought I was cranking up some serious mileage on the car, until I paid attention to one of those infamous odometer tests and realized the odometer was a bit fast.
Then this site convinced me - http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html

I could get it reprogrammed, but I want to go bigger in the back, which means another reporgram to put it back.
