Sorry...I NEED to get off the internet!!!!
I want nicer tips than my '01 A4 Coupe'. More aggressive sound but NO RESONANCE at all...I LOVE the Pro-Tips but also like the "sexiness" of the Z06 Ti exhaust...I am a little afraid to buy long distance from someone I don't know and like the fact of some kinda warranty on the Corsas...If I go Corsa, Indy or Touring????
HELP, I am self destructing!!!
Thanks, in advance  :grouphug: :steering: :chevy :seeya
:D These kind of questions have sort of been beat to death here. Only you can tell what you will like best. Most end up going with the Indy's. Check with Forum supporting vendor Xtreme Motorsports (see listing on the left) for really good pricing. Mike will take good care of you!
I recently switched my A4 from Corsa Indy Pro Series tips to the Z06 Ti.
Reason was at highway speeds with my 4.10 rear the rpm is so high that the corsa was too loud. It is pretty loud at wide open throttle though I did not have any resonance.
The Ti's in my opnion are much better. Cheaper, lighter, different and I suffered NO power degredation from the swap.
I went with Corsa Indys, and noise at cruising speed is VERY important to me, as she's my daily driver. The Indys (aka Pace Car edition) sound great when you get on the gas, but don't beat you up all day if you don't want them to. Plus, my Daytona tips look pretty slick (they're also pretty rare around here, which is also cool). Check out as many brands as you can in person before you buy, as this is real subjective.
I went with the Z06 Ti exhaust and it's perfect... just what I was looking for. I talked to the guy I bought them from several times on the phone before the tranaction and they arrived in great shape.
I have the corsa tourings. It is very subtle and sounds great at WOT. Crusing speeds you dont even notice it. Just remember every one has there own style so you may want to ride in a few cars that have different sytems to find the one you like. Dont forget that other mods to ther car also affect the sound of the exhaust. A car with indys and Heads/cams will not sound like a car with stock internals and indys. You will be happy either way you go.
