Default Radiator over flow cap

I took my car to the agency for service and when I attempted to check my water a week later,I can't remove the cap from the filler. It feels like it is locked in place. The cap moves about a 1/4" and then it won't unscrew. The cap never did this before.Did the agency mess up? :chevy :chevy :flag :chevy :chevy

Well, your first mistake was letting the CIA work on your car - they're spies, dude, not mechanics!

Sounds to me like they cross-threaded it when they reinstalled it. I'd take it back and tell them to fix it, in case their cross-threading damaged the plastic threads on your overflow bottle.

Good luck.

If you didn't have the problem before and they worked on that area then they did something. If the plastic neck is crossthreaded it may need a new neck and cap. Take it back. I hate to go back to have something fixed that they broke. Who is supposed to be the pros anyway?
