Does replacing stock foglight covers increase HP?
One of my Corvette Catalog's says I can add up to 5 HP by installing their cold air screen around the foglight. For $90, I would to know if I would ge getting my money's worth?

The thinking is, that at speed, it should have some kind of HP increasing effect due to better air flow for your air filter (assuming you have an exposed element, like a Blackwing), but definitely not while stationary such as when sitting on a dyno.

I think even if they did give 5hp, which I doubt, you're not going to feel 5 hp. If you'd still like to do it, it is much easier to just drill some holes in the stock covers. I bought the screens and painted them white for cosmetic reasons alone. :cool:
