Another ? on Stinger install.
What I have learned is that you will need to get the vehicle up 3+ feet to save the old pipes without cutting.
How about the new ones you are putting on ...in this case the 4-tip rounds I have just purchased?
You do not need 3+ clearance to get the new Borla set on?
Aren't the pipes bent on the same idea as the factory set you are taking off.
Any input would be appreciated.
And many thanks for the wealth of information you guys have given me by these posts.

After my cafiene hit I will be out in the garage today.
I would say a Sawzall will take care of the factory iron just fine!
Thanks again ( SHOgun )
Sound is better then stock, as I just ran it in the garage and have not gone out on the street yet. (Ok if you need to know why it is raining )
Didn't need to drop the sway bar either.
Happy? ( somewhat )
I guess I am in search of that sound I had when I was driving around in my muscle car in High School -way, way back in the 70's.
69 Camaro Z28, 302CI two owners I was the second - 11000. miles.
factory headers \ straight pipes chambered exhaust no mufflers. The straight pipes stopped just short of the transaxle ....What a head turner....she came from GM that way and was street legal...Oh the good ol'days!
I love this 02 Cpe, and I am glad we have HP back under the hood.
Even though it took 30 years to get it back,,it is so,so welcome.
I believe to get that sound back I would need to go with a cam, headers, and bring her to Midas for a custom job.
Pull the Cat's off and run the pipes straight back over the rear end to the Borlas.
( And run from the Cops and the inspection stations when I am done! )
