BELANGER HEADERS

HAS ANYONE USED BELANGER HEADERS AND IF SO HOW DID YOU LIKE THEM?? :rolleyes:

I think that nobody has bought them lately due to the last few sets that came out were only showing a 10 hp or less gain. I think Xtreme used to sell them but has stopped until the problem is fixed.

Don't do it!!!!!!!! I base line dynoed my Z06 and 2 days later put on the belangers and the corsa Xpipe drove it to let the computer have a chance to adjust and took it back to the same dyno and got 2 hp less!!! the same with tq. I called Belanger and I don't have the time to tell you all the things he blamed but never gave me anything real to work on to make them work. but I still told them I'd put another 200 miles on the Vette to make sure the computer had a chance to learn then redyno the Vette. No other changes no other mod's same dyno and tech and I got the same numbers! :mad So I had them removed and put TPIS on I'll be going to the track this weekend and once I get time on the computer I'll be taking it back to the same dyno, same tech no other mod's. Update to come...............

Never dynoed after the install. I would look at Stainless Works headers now. There wasn't very many available when I bought mine .....which were bought used in the for sale section. :cheers:

Have heard great things about LG headers, but do not have them so can only go by what others have said. Do a search for headers and you will probably come across more info than you want (resulting in your eyes rolling back into your head and you loosing consciousness) :lol: :yesnod: :cheers:

I have Belangers on a 2001 Coupe. Dyno'd before and after and only gained 10 HP and 10 TQ at the rear wheels. Belangers are the worst performing long tubes on the market. LG's, FLP's, and stainless steel works seem to be the best for power gains right now. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THE BELANGER"S !!!!

:iagree: Purchased mine about 3 years ago, the fit was perfect, the quality was topnotch, and I felt the midrange power improvement. Car with mods on sig dyno'd SAE at 331rwhp. Don't know anything about problems in recent times...
