I had the local muffler shop install my new Corsa Tigershark exhaust and crossover this weekend.
When I went to pick up my Coupe, the tips were not aligned, in fact the two center tips were touching.
Back to the rack, they made adjustments. In order to get "close" to even alignment and spacing, they had to pull the pipes part of the way off the sleeve connection so there would be enough play in the pipes to make an alignment adjustment. The brackets provided with the system did not provide for adjustment.
After complete, the alignment is pretty close, but the center spacing is still a little bit off. In my opinion, not right is not good enough.
Has anyone had this same problem, and any solution?
I had the same sort of problem... the tips on each pipe do NOT align, and it just looks mediocre. I posted a similar message, and it seems CORSA has some quality-control issues they are not addressing.
I also mentioned this on my warranty card, but got no response for CORSA themselves. Due to my workload, I haven't had the time to pursue this matter more...
For what it's worth, I had my install done at Pat Goss' Car World, and the tech was incredibly helpful and Mr. Goss himself explained the problem. He mentioned that many aftermarket exhausts have some alignment issues, and it's par for the course
to have "some" variance. That said, they aligned it as good as they could, and the alignment problem is only an issue when looking down from above (like when closing the trunk) since the tips are obviously not "straight" due to the way they were welded on. It's not a matter of adjusting the mufflers or any of the clamps... it's the tips themselves that are crooked.
I had a similar problem when installing my Corsa Daytona Tourings. One side had to be aligned using heat and a big bar. One would think at the price of these things, one wouldn't have to do this sort of adjusting. After adjusting, they look and sound great!

You should post things like this in the General section.
If this issue is in the wrong section I am sorry, but I am asking if anyone has a solution for an alignment problem on an exhaust system, and to me that is a technical issue.
I could never get my GTR Tips aligned correctly after the xpipe install either. Call Jim at Corsa as he said he knows some tricks, to align them.
I had a professional installer, who builds custom pipes, install them and we found out by measure that tips are different sizes adding to alignment issues. In all fairness, Corsa was extremely helpful in install/reinstall but I do believe they need to re-evaluate tip design and installation.
Just to add fuel to the fire, my Corsa touring Pro-tips just went on and aligned perfectly without any adjustment. My Z06 Ti's that I just took off had the passenger side about 1/2" low. Also, my stock system was perfect. Go figure, I think it is a crap shoot.
Jim Browning Jr. here from Corsa.
If anyone has any questions on aligned our systems, please give us a call at 800.486.0999. We will be happy to walk through this with you to make the system correct.
On a side note...At the C5 Birthday bash this year, two customers asked me to look at there systems that where misaligned, and with in 5 minutes under each car in the parking lot, I had both systems sitting flat and level with the tips evenly spaced.
We are here to help! Please give us a call!
I had a few problems with my Corsa Tigersharks but Paul Santiago at Corsa went way out of his way to make the job eazy, my tips didn't sit right but with Paul's help they now look great, by the way get the Corsa X pipe the exhaust note really sounds much better.

I had my local muffler shop install my Tigersharks. The owner personally did the install, being a 'hotrodder' himself. He did an awesome job, the tips are level and equally spaced. If'n I could figure out how to upload a pic, I'd show ya....They sound great and look impressive.
I think the key is to get someone who cares about their work, and your car. When I get some swaybars, I'll have him put 'em on aswell.
I have the Corsa with pro tips and indy mufflers, and they are perfect. Bolted right up and with some minor adjustment lined right up, no problems. they are a very early set as I got them right when they made them for the Carvaggio (SP). My only real problem is that I have a trailer hitch to tug my race tires, and tools to the track, and the pipes come very close to the hitch braces. there is plenty of room betweeen the left and right side as I actually have the Bow Tie hitch cover inbetween the pipes.
And the sound? Fantastic, I have the Shorty B&B Triflows and Bassini X pipe! and I can tell ya for a fact the B&Bs with the total system, give great performance. I may go to long tubes a little later, but right now the car has been running perfectly. Just flipped 100K miles and have run this set up for the last 75K miles!
