from their fuel pump
is this just a normal thing on a corvette

just came from the dealer
service tech said it sounded normal
how did u get them to fix it under warranty?
i told him that it was a service bulletin item
but he explained that does not mean that replacement is covered under warranty
i guess i just got to turn up the volume on the awesome stereo

97s, 98s and I think some 99s had very loud fuel pumps. After the redesigned fuel pump became available those owners that had the earlier cars could get them replaced under warranty as long as the warranty had not expired. I had the pump in my 97 replaced in the fall of 99. The redesigned pump may be noisy to some but if you compare it to the early pump then it is absolutely quiet.

any suggestions on how to convince them that its a warranty issue
my exteded warranty runs out tomorrow thats why i took it in
like i said the service guy said it was normal and not a warranty issue

Most extended warranties wont cover components that are noisey only failed components. It's all in how it is "sold" to them.
