Default HELP - Leaking pinkish/red fluid?

I see a small amount of the reddish fluid on the garage floor. It's coming from the back section of the car. It's not heavy like oil. Is this transmission/brake/differerntial fluid? Does someone know what it is? Thanks. :cry

That is ATF. Most likely you have a transmission leak.

Transmission Fluid = pinkish
Differential Fluid = greenish
There is a archived post where I had to ask the same question :)
Had my leak about 3 months now, most likely the seal on the driver side output shaft. 1st owner had this fix according to GM history.
Do a search for info on Transmission leak, tranny leak, trans leak , etc. Lots of info.
Dealer told me it was the transmission blowout vent, but I intentionally let the Vette sit for 10 days during my vacation couple of weeks ago and now have a nice little pool of fluid in the garage (20 drops worth or so.)
Some say get it fixed, others say to just add fluid because the dealer is likely to just screw something else up. I'm going to try and find another dealer that actually gives a poopie. I put down newspaper and will be taking that to the next dealer to prove my point, pictures too.

It's your tranny, hopefully you have warranty left.
