It's not easy to fix. Some times the dash will rubber on other molding and make a squeak. I'm guessing you put Armorial or some sun protection on you dash. Try using it like an oil, when you wipe your dash down get in to the cracks and see if that helps. Most likely it's in side your dash. If you just bought the car sometimes the dealer ship might be willing to help, but you might look at all the screws that hold your dash in place and tighten them and your air vents. With out seeing the car it's hard to know what’s going on. I've only taken the dash out once before in a 97, but that was to replace it.

Re: dashboard squeak (matlabman)
Make sure that the sound is in the dash. With the coupe, when the seal on the top is not tight enough, flexing of the car emits a noise that sounds like it is coming from the dash. It happened to me; turned out to be the top. I would first make sure you have a correct seal on the top before messing with the dash.
Sqeaks in the C5 appear to be a common but annoying problem, particularly on uneven surfaces.
I was resigned to having to accept this problem, until I changed my shift boot leather cover. I had to remove my dash, console etc. After I put everything back together again, the squeaks were gone. I still get slight noises coming from the lower part of the interior, but they are pretty mild in comparison. At least I was able to trace the source of of the problem. You will find some useful installation links on the forum, which you can use to refit your dash and console. Just make sure everything is aligned and fits into place without undue force or misalignment. I would also check for any worn items in the assembly.
Hope this helps.
steve, SAVETTE is right. Check your leather shift boot. Mine was making all kinds of squeak and I thought it was coming from my Targa Top. A little leather conditioner and some silicon grease around the shaft of my shifter made 99% of the noise go away. Until I discovered this, I spent the last month and a half removing the top daily, lubricating all the seals, adjusting the J hook on the rear latch, etc.,...when all the time it was the leather boot sitting in the center console (my son who was riding with me discovered it).
Mine makes a rattling noise. Its actually from the cup holder. If I push it down, the sound goes away for a bit. I've tried to locate the exact source but still unable to find it.
