What a bunch of nerds we are!

Physics was always a pain in the **** of little math details that were easy to forget, nonetheless, I always found it interesting and useful.

I was kidding. Make them the correct length for each plug and you will be fine. :steering:

Wait, then what about spark plug gaps? My little mechanical gapper can't have fine enough resolution to have all the gaps exactly identical! What if some gaps are .0016 larger than others?

as light only travels that fast in free space.
not true. "Light" speed is light speed. It is less lossy in space, but it travels the same speed no matter what the medium.

Example; If I get into a craft, take off and travel 10 times the speed of light and then quickly land... will I see myself land again a few seconds later?

Incorrect. electrons have a drift velocity of approx. 3 meters/sec. in a wire conductor
are you kidding? You mean it would take excited electrons 100 seconds to to travel 300 meters????

I don't think so. Conversation via telephone would be impossible due to the delays.

[QUOTE]

I have to disagree here. For instance light travels through fiber at different speeds. All have quoted rates of speed or velocity of propogation corrected by refractive index. In short fiber slows light down. Also different colors or wavelengths travel at different speeds.

Same with an electrical signal. Fastest in free space. Slower through media.
