Re: P0153 every drive & changed both upstream O2's.... (TLewis4095)
Do you have headers? Cars with headers often have this code.
I have heard that running the REAR 02 sensors on the FRONT help stop this code from happening because they are designed to heat themselves up more because they are usually on the rear side of the cats.
I get codes 1133 and 1153... Which are slow switching from Sensor b1s1 and b2s1.
Re: P0153 every drive & changed both upstream O2's.... (TLewis4095)
Thanks Matt....I do have TPIS, and was getting all the codes you list as well as 0153, but since the new O2's only getting the 0153 now. Runs consistant (we bracket race) so I'm not to concerned.
Re: P0153 every drive & changed both upstream O2's.... (TLewis4095)
P0153 is "slow response from B2S1" - passenger side front O2. If you have changed the O2 already have you looked at it with a diaganostic tool? You could possibly have an exhaust leak I have seen that too or maybe damage to the wiring harness.
