*front rotor question...

have there been any changes made to them thru the production years?
are the later models prone to warping?
and are Z06 rotors the same as C5 rotors, if so will the bolt on to a C5?
:lurk:

AFAIK all year rotors includig Z06s are all the same. And in my opinion C5 rotors don't warp. They my have uneven pad build up but they don't warp. I have seen too many warped rotors "heal" themselves after hard braking on a roadcourse!
To answer some of your question, I had my original rotors warp at 36000 miles, tossed and got some new ones from a previous owner here on the forum, paid I believe $75.00 only had 8 miles on them :D . Put some Hawk brake pads with the rotors.
You have to torque the wheels down at 100 or else you rotors can warp just as quick, that is the reason I believe so many rotors go bad, you need to check the torque numbers.
Still coming Saturday??
The front rotors are not the same - there is a left and right rotor (different part numbers).
10445857 rotor front left
these are the part numbers I ordered from: http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/
and it was $132.00 delivered for the fronts:
