For those that don't know. Most FLP headers sold in March had some issues. Well Tuesday Mitch at FLP calls and says the replacements are in. Shipped them to me the same day, got here today :hurray: Checked them out, and leak tested. Everything looks good. The AIR tube (problem area) seems to have been reworked some and the weld looks a lot more solid. After talking to Mitch I did learn that was part of the delay on the replacements. I guess they reworked the jig for the headers to provide a better weld and better fit. Mitch also told me to give him a call when the old ones are ready for pickup. No charge of course. To those at FLP, nice work. Problem found and corrected. I'm definately a happy camper
Re: FLP Replacement Headers have arrived (Smoke-N-Shot)
Im glad to hear FLP is making things right for their customers and that they have addressed the issues with their headers. I look forward to placing an order for a set of FLP's in the near future. I just can't wait for some more low end torque and that evil deep thoraty exhaust sound :reddevil .

You won't be disappointed. My FLP's combined with the B&B PRT exhaust sound evil has hell. Nice rumble at idle, but at WOT, look out :yesnod:
Mine came in today also. There's a few scratches, but it's not that bad - certainly not bad enough to warrant asking for replacement - it took too long to get these! ... besides, I'll probably end up scratching them myself on a speed bump somewhere down the road.
I can see where they made their changes - it's certainly better than before.
While I am frustrated that it took almost 3 months to get the replacements, I have to say that they have resolved the situation to my satisfaction. I'd rather wait 3 months and get a working set than get another broken pair within a few weeks. Honestly, I wasn't sure how this was going to turn out -
Kudos to FLP for making good on a bad situation. I've dealt with many other lesser-companies that would have dropped the ball on something like this.

Here's a neat little idea I was given for scratches. Spray some hi-temp silver paint on a que tip and apply to the scratch. It will keep rust away. I did it and I was surprised that it's hard to see where you paint.
