Installed HUD and now DIC only shows odometer reading
I just installed a HUD in my 2001 Coupe. The HUD is great and works fine, but the DIC only displays odometer reading and the buttons on the right side of the cluster don't seem to work at all. I was very careful when removing and working on the cluster and didn't even disturb the right side wiring. I disconnected the battery when I did the install and reconnected a few times to test it.
I tried the resetting technique of holding the OPTIONS button and hitting FUEL 4 times. It does nothing, like the buttons aren't there. The car runs fine otherwise. Any ideas, short of ripping it apart again to check the wiring on the right side of the cluster?

Dude...Your gonna have to disassemble the dash again...sounds like the plug on the right side became unseated.   Won't take near as long as it did the first time. Question though, you did use the eleven pin (?)connector, right?

Well the good news is I'm getting better at taking the dash out. Did it in an hour and found...yep, the connector just dangling there. Connected it back up and the world is beautiful again. Thanks for all the encouragement! They should all be this easy.
