Default Another C5 lowering question

I lowered my car today and now I have two questions: 1) FRONT: I took everything apart like you supposed to, then I simply turned the bolt all the way up...bushing touching the botton of the arm; it couldn't go further unless I cut the bushings. By just turning the bolt by hand as mentioned above, will this lowered the front? REAR: I follow the instructions as mentioned on the tech section. However, I turned the bolt where there is only ONE thread showing on top of the bolt...right above the nut. Will this lower the rear? Again, I chose not to cut any bushings or use longer bolts.
Thanks for all your help. :)

The rear should be lower than the front. But yes that is how you lower it. With the front bushing intact it only lowers about 3/4".

To answer your questions...yes, and yes.
You did it right, although you don't have to take anything apart in the front. I didn't even take the wheels off when I first adjusted mine down to the stock limits the first time.

If you haven't driven the car yet, it may not appear any lower now...drive it for a day or two to let things settle and see the results.

I cut off 2/3 of the front bushings, and have longer (6.5") bolts in the rear. The ride got slightly choppier after lowering it on the stock bolt adjustment, but nothing objectionable.
I cut the front bushings a few weeks ago and noticed no change at all in ride quality from where it was. My car still rides smoother than a stock Z06, even with my 19/20" tires...Although this seems to be the exception and not the norm.
If you experience a much harsher ride doing this, you may want to get the shorter Bilstein shocks, as it is probably the stock shocks bottoming out.
