Default Question for Experienced Diablo Sport Users

I'm still trying to work on the programming going from a 2.73 to 3.42. Since the diablosport office is closed today, I thought I ask you guys some questions that are probably dumb.

1. Should the axle parameter be changed to 3.42 from the 2.73 base? The instructions say this is not applicable on the vette. It said to read the addendum to the manual for instuctions, but my instructions didn't come with an addendum.

2. Factory and Actual Wheel Size Parameters:
a) For factory tire size, I'm using 275 (printed on the tire)
b) For tire width, aspect ratio, I'm using 40 (printed on tire)
c) For wheel size, I'm using 18 (once again printed on the tire)

As I've stated in previous threads, my speedo is off. Also, I'm not sure that it's shifting into 3rd.

Sorry for the continued stupid questions, but I'm not very good at this type of thing and I wanted to tinker around with this today. Any advice would be appreciated.

It should be changed i the Diablo. Alos I think there is a way for the computer to auto calibrate, but can't find the link. Try emailing Mike Norris, he can do this stuff in his sleep.

I have used the predator to change my gears from 3.15 to 3.73.I had to get a modification to the program to do this.It was sent to me via the computer. You must set the axle ratio and tire size with the predator.Try setting your shift speeds at 6000rpm to start with.Make sure you also set the mph shift speeds also.Set them low so that the rpm will be the governing parameter.Try 30 and 70 to start with. This will make sure you are shifting at 6000 rpm at wot.
