Then we found that the 02 sensors had a "wattage" rating stamped on the side. The higher the wattage, the less chance there was that a "Insufficient switching" code would come up. The wattage on the front 02 sensors is 75watts. The wattage on the rear 02 sensors is 139watts ( early cars had a 98watt rear) .
I am patiently waiting gor the G2 header package with the metal matrix cats. Once they are released I plan on replacing my stock exhaust manifolds and cats. However, I have a 98 C5 which I'm planning on changing out my O2 sensors soon.
What is the part number for the 139 watt O2 sensors? I assume it's possible to use the 139 watt sensors for all four sensors?

In addition to the higher wattage, the wire was longer. In fact it was long enough to reach the front harness. BUT... the connection was wrong. So we made an adapter, that comes with our headers which allows you to use the higher wattage 02 sensors in the front position. Thanks,
Lou G
