Default [need help!] P0200 and engine running really rough

topic title says it all.

started the car up, and noticed the engine was running really rough - like it was running on only 4-5 cylinders. limped a couple blocks home. parked it and pulled codes. only current code is P0200. everything looks good under the hood. changed plugs, brake pads, oil, filter two days ago. any ideas, and what does P0200 mean?

thanks!

I have no idea what a P0200 code is :( Sorry. A P0300 code is a Engine Misfire Detected-B.......which is consistent with a plug or wire issue.

i searched on another forum and found out that P0200 is for "an Injector Circuit malfunction -- which would explain the rough idle and rich smell". commonly caused by chaffed wiring harness. very common on z06's.

time to go out and examine wires. :) hopefully i won't have to tow her in to the dealer for what is going to be a wonderful, clear, warm weekend. :/

will keep ya'll posted.

and thanks for the quick reply Buckmaster. :)

Good luck. Sorry I couldn't help. I have a "quick list" of codes I keep nearby and it wasn't on there. I'm glad I know what it is now :D Thanks.

i cleared all codes, checked all injector wiring harnesses and wires. found a couple that were suspect. rearranged them so they were clear and had nothing laying on them. everything fine now. :) heheh.

i'll take it in to the dealer next week so they can inspect/replace the harnesses. :)
