Steering Wheel Lock

I am having a problem in that my DTC is saying Service Steering Wheel Lock. I don't have one. I had it replaced with a kit over 30,000 miles ago. This shuts down the engine when I try to drive. HELP, any suggestions.

The first thing that comes to mind is that the kit may have come unplugged or one of the wires broken / worn through.

Thanks! Just found out about the Corvette Action Center webpage, and a 2002 had the same problem. They replaced the ignition switch. I guess I can't complain after 112,000 miles of driving everyday.
