That all depends on how you use your car... most autocross and race folks will stick to the slotted and solid type rotors and high performance pads like the Hawks. For more of the streetable "more show than go" types like me... the zinc coated drilled and slotted type rotors and pads that don't dust too much are preferred.
The red Z06 calipers are the same as the regular C5 brakes, just painted. So I assume you're wanting show. in that case, just grab some eradispeed rotors and keep the stock pads. Most guys who have switched pads from stock were less than thrilled.
