Car quit tonight ????????????
Went for a short cruise this evening, about 25 minutes, stopped to chat with a neighbor about 5 houses down the street. Car was shut off for about 15 minutes. Started the car, it ran for a few seconds & quit. Started the car again, it ran for a few seconds & quit again. DIC says remove key & wait 10 seconds. Did that , started okay & drove home a few hundred feet. Did the code check proceedure & no codes. Any ideas ???? This is the first problem that I've had with the 2002, approx 5500 miles. Thanx crew

Mine did the exact thing tonight...went to workout....washed hands and walked out without drying.....key must have got wet...got pull key...tried about 3 times...no go...then started fine.

Possible security code/key issue.
Could be poor contact with the ignition switch and the resistor plug in the key.
Is key loose in switch?
If it happens again use the other key. If you can isolate it to the key, get another made. Only from your dealer though, because of the security plug.
If that's it, the car just thinks someone trying to steal it with a counterfeit key...
