Default How do I program the Memory Package

When I purchased my previously owned 99 C5 it did not have the memory package installed from the factory. I purchased the upgraded pod that installs in the drivers side door panel. It plugs right into the old connector and all of the buttoms work (the windows, door locks and mirrors) however the memory buttons don't opperate... Is there something I'm missing? Is there something else that needs to be programed? Of course there were no instructions included in the box... Any help is much appreciated....

does this "pod" supposedly provide all the functionality?

I thought there needed to be a drivers Seat Control Module that has the memory capability

I don't know whether there were different SCMs for memory and non-memory options, but I'd check that out

In other words, you may have the door switch stuff but not the part under the seat connected to the seat motor wiring that talks to the door switch

check with Bob at Ken Fitchner to see if there were different SCM part numbers

I contacted Bob yesterday on this same topic. He is researching this for me for my 03 coupe. Midwest is selling the door panel saying it is plug and play????? But without the seat control module Bob said it wouldn't work.

There are. You're going to need an SCM as well.

hey Bob, can't leave the Coupe alone huh

the PN for the SCM on my Z06 and on the Sport Seats I got is 10435193 (both with memory option)

and if you need to look at wiring of it to compare yours, I got the original Z06 seats loose in the spare room

here is what we are talking about

the black box at the top of the pix that has 3 connectors into it (black, green, red)

Neal, Looked under my seats and they have the seat relay module P/N 10406008 so I don't see anyway this memory conversion MidAmerica is selling will work. Also I haven't been able to see your pictures on the forum.

Bob

don't know about the pix on the forum

EDIT maybe fixed now

will email to you

also, if you want, you could come by and bolt my seat into your car and see if it will work with the door module
