Headers and Turbos...???
Can you use aftermarket headers (like LGM) with a turbo like the TT setup from LPE or do you need a special set that ties into the turbo piping...just curious :) :cheers:

The header system is an integral part of a turbo installation, and its design is a key factor in variables such as boost lag. Conventional headers are not compatible with turbos.

Turbo systems require modification to the exhaust manifold/s to hold the turbo. With header systems, the collector is located way too low and too small to accept the turbo compressor.

I have seen mustangs invert long and midlegnth headers and bolt a turbo to the end of it. If you look at HallTecs turbo system the headers look like shortend inverted longtubes
