Need Electrical Help
My third brake light is the only light showing up when I brake. I'm in the process right now of just kind of checking things out, although I really haven't a clue what I'm looking for. I don't know the first thing about electrical. I've been under the car, and the wires I'm looking at in the rear *appear* to be ok...I've taken the carpet partially out in the trunk, but I don't really know what I'm looking for.

It could be a faulty wire connector, the turn signal lever or the hazard switch.
First, have you checked for good grounds at the rear? Are you sure the bulbs are good?
This could be a bear to track down. To check the hazard switch you need to remove the upper dash pad.
Maybe some others who have had to run this down can offer some better info.
